Hatt Pilates FAQs

You can use these whenever you like and can book them up to 4 weeks ahead from when you call us. However, all types of Pilates class credits expire upon termination of your membership.

Of course. Once you sign up to become a member, you will have full access to all of the online live and pre- records enabling you to do daily classes if you wish.

If you take up a new membership then this will simply transfer over from the old one. We will discuss your account status with you at the point of transferring you over.

The new classes will be smaller groups which limits the number of attendees that we can accomodate throughout the week. We feel passionately about you getting great value and moving to a members only service will enable us to do that.

These can be transferred forward as new class credits or clinic credit to use on our other services.

You won’t be able to attend any classes but you could use the funds towards Pilates 1:1’s. Alternatively we can review your account with you and are able to offer a transfer to clinic credit or a refund.

No you won’t need to provide one months notice on this occasion. These are unusual times for all of us and we recoginse we have made changes to your previous agreement so are happy to accept immediate notice.

You can choose to mostly use the online live and pre-recorded classes within the Class Membership and these will still offer you great value if you are a regular user. However we would still prefer to see you in clinic each month, either for a class, 1:1 or movement screen as we want to make sure that you are getting the maximum benefit from Pilates at Hatt’s.

Our Pilates team are passionate about clinically specific, expert movement correction and exercise progressions. Whilst online classes are excellent for regular extra practice they are no substitute to us being able to work with you in person.

Our 4:1 classes are 50 minutes in duration. This is a good time for a small focused class.

Definitely! You are going to get the best of both worlds – something Danny, Marilyn and Jill feel very passionately about. With just 4 people in each class you will get lots of support and guidance to make sure you are comfortable.

Yes, absolutely! This hasn’t changed so if you would like to book 2 or more guaranteed spaces each week, you can purchase multiple memberships and benefit from a 5% discount which will be applied to your direct debit. Alternatively, you can purchase additional flexible class credits to use at a time that suits you.

This discount can still be used for ALL non-Pilates services and products at the clinic with just 1 exception – Quickstarts (as these are significantly discounted already). It cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offers or discounts and is only for your personal use.

*All the additional discounts you receive as a Hatt Pilates member are valid whilst you maintain your active Hatt Pilates membership direct debit.

The discounted 1:1’s (including additional Movement Screens) are £49 , which is a saving £15 per session.

If this occurs on one of the 5 remaining bank holidays (the 3 at Xmas and New Year are already excluded due to the annual break) then you can choose to:-

  • Call us any time from 2 weeks before your regular class, up until 24 hours before the class, to arrange a Make up*

-or-

  • On the day of the class we will automatically apply a flexible class credit onto your account. This credit does not expire and can be used at any time in the future.

This encompasses the 2 calendar weeks (Mon-Sun) that cover the Xmas and New Year Bank Holidays.

This is to avoid ‘blocking’ available membership slots, so that new patients have the opportunity to start a Pilates membership and be able to book their desired regular class.

This is due to the extra costs of ongoing booking administration. Our monthly membership fees are set with this service level in mind.

We will always do our best to have the class covered by another clinician in the first instance. However, if this is not possible, we would offer to book you a Make up* class (to be booked in up to 4 weeks following this cancellation), or give you the option of a flexible class credit.

Fortunately these scenarios are really quite rare. Again for any missed classes due to this we would offer to book you a Make up* class (to be booked in up to 4 weeks following this cancellation), or give you the option of a flexible class credit.

Our phone lines are open on Saturdays and we also have an answer machine that is available the rest of the weekend. Your time of call is logged and as long as we have the required 24 hours notice then we will call you back to see if you want to arrange a Make up* class.

We can only offer flexible class credits in circumstances when we are not able to run your guaranteed class.

This appointment benefit is specifically related to your Pilates membership and is not transferrable or refundable.

Yes. It is important that the Pilates team are involved in your ongoing analysis and ideally we always recommend you book this with the instructor you see most often.

We review our fees once each year with any changes taking effect in September. We will always give you more than 1 months notice of any changes.

We need one full calendar months notice for this, and you can simply let us know (by phone or email). Please don’t cancel your direct debit until you have spoken to our team.

i.e. If you want to stop attending in May then please let us know on or before the 1st April. If you don’t give the agreed notice then a months membership fee will become chargeable.

Yes of course. However please be aware that you may not be able to get the same class day and time that you had before. Additionally a £70 rejoining fee will be payable if you cancel and rejoin within a 3 month period.
