Hi! My name is Emma, a Senior Podiatrists at the Hatt Clinic. I graduated from the University of Southampton in 2017 and after a year in private practice in and around Winchester, I decided to make the move to Bath and joined Hatts. Hatts took my fancy because it offered ongoing support, training and future career progression. I also liked the idea of being part of a multidisciplinary clinic working alongside other like-minded professionals.

It’s now been almost 3 years that I’ve worked here. As a Podiatrist it’s fantastic to have the support of a multidisciplinary clinic that allows me to manage my patients holistically wherever possible. I have had the opportunity to treat a wide variety of conditions and offer the latest technology – Swift, Clearanail, custom orthotics, shockwave therapy, and nail surgery to name a few.

Since starting I have had weekly coaching, peer reviews, observations and funding to support any external training or CPD I need. When I started, my line manager asked me where I would like to progress during my career – and for me, I have always wanted to specialise in musculoskeletal podiatry. Over the last 3 years, I have been guided and supported to transition into this role and now manage a thriving case load.

Alongside patient care, Hatts love to encourage a positive work-life balance so there is an active social calendar including drinks, BBQ’S, picnics, and weekends away. They also enroll you on a wellness program where you can take part in other services across the board.

I can honestly say the best part about working at Hatts is the people. You won’t meet a group more positive, genuine, and caring than this bunch.
