Roisin Benham

Roisin moved from South East London to join our team. Her interest in becoming a therapist began when she was nine years old and has never wavered. She has achieved two BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Performance (Essex) and Sports Therapy (Northampton) as well as an MSc in Musculoskeletal Healthcare and Rehabilitation (UCL).

While studying at UCL, Roisin developed an interest in total hip and knee replacements. Part of her course was understanding the engineering behind the implants as well as attending the surgical procedures. In addition, she also has an interest in spinal cord injuries.

Roisin’s main passion is rugby which she played when she was younger and also qualified as a rugby referee. Although, she has always preferred being on the sidelines treating injuries and gaining advanced first aid qualifications. During her studies, she worked for Beccehamians RFC, Hayes School, and the London Blitz American Football team. She has also covered the British Transplant Games, the World Obstacle Race Championship, and judo competitions.

Outside of work, Roisin is a season ticket holder at Saracens Rugby Club, attending as many home games as she can. She also enjoys camping and walking the family dog.
