James set up the Hatt Clinic in 2003 and currently works as the full time Clinical Director. He was the first Physio in the company but now no longer runs a patient list, but is instead involved in the training and development of each and every service that the Hatt Clinic offers.
His drive to provide exceptional care and results for patients, and the vision of a comprehensive musculoskeletal medical service under one roof has led us to where we are today.
James lives in Bath with his wife and co-director Amanda. Their daughter Steph is all grown up and currently managing the marketing department at Hatt’s! When not working James loves to travel and is interested in most outdoor activities, as long as it’s sunny!
Amanda comes from a commercial business background and has over 16 years of Management, business development and customer service experience.
She began her career in customer service at littlewoods in the north of England in the mid 90s and fulfilled many managerial roles over the years before working as a general manager for an international mail order company in 2003.
In 2008 Amanda finally gave in to James request for her to come and join him in the running of the clinics.
Amanda is responsible for the day to day running of the business, customer satisfaction and management of the team. Her main interests are in business development, staff management and team building.
Sue originally trained as a bilingual secretary before taking a career break to bring up her family. After several years living in the Middle East supporting her husband’s career she returned to the UK and settled in Frome and took a position with what used to be called Frome Physiotherapy.
As James and Amanda took over the Frome Clinic Sue’s role has continued to grow and as Clinic Manager she is now responsible for ensure all three clinics run smoothly.
She continues to live in Frome with her husband and a big black hairy labradoodle and when not at work spends a lot of time in London and the South East visiting her four grandchildren.
Sue joined the Hatt team in March 2015 as an accounts assistant, prior to this she worked within the customer service sector before moving into accounts.
Since working in the Hatt team she has gained her AAT Level 2 and Level 3 and looks after all our patients accounts along with the company accounts and is now Accounts Manager.
When she is not at work Sue enjoys spending time with her family, walking her Cocker spaniel Daisy and attending weekly fitness classes. She has a love of travel and when the opportunity presents itself you will usually find her on the first plane to Italy.
Steph graduated from Manchester University with a BA (Hons) in French and Business Management, and though she focused on many areas of business throughout these four years, took a particular interest in Marketing and Sales.
Having joined the Marketing team, Steph is keen to use all the many and varied skills gained in University, and bring new and fresh initiatives to the clinics. One of her favourites so far being Christmas at Hatt’s.
Steph loves to ski, having worked two seasons in Meribel, spends time with her friends and family outside of work, as well as finds time to travel to new places all over the world.
