Ellie finished studying in 2014 after completing her A levels in Health and Social Care and Business at Devizes School.
Following this, she joined the Fire Service for two years before joining the Police force for a further four years. During her time with the Police, Ellie took nine months out to look after her little boy, Max.
Ellie recently decided that it was time for a career change so joined the Hatt team, where she is looking forward to bringing her skills and knowledge to grow with the business.
When Ellie isn’t at work, she and Max are always out on adventures, creating fond memories together.
Frances studied Business and Administration at Trowbridge College where she learnt essential skills in customer service and administration, and ever keen to put those skills in to practice, spent her weekends gaining work experience at her local M&Co store.
Following Fran’s graduation, she was offered a full-time job at M&Co, and over a career spanning 8 years at the store, was promoted through to an assistant manager where she was responsible for all customer queries, health & safety and the smooth running of the store.
Working at a clothing store, Fran enjoyed making people feel good on the outside, but it was time for a change – a change to making people feel good on the inside – and that’s where Hatt’s come in. Fran was thrilled to be joining our Patient Services team, and hasn’t looked back since.
In her spare time, Fran enjoys drawing and painting, reading manga (no, it’s not a typo – manga is actually a Japanese comic book), and playing video games with her fiancé.
Jo was brought up and educated in France and moved back to the UK to work as a bilingual secretary. After a short career break to bring up her two sons, she then worked in a Primary school for 12 years as a teaching assistant and French teacher, which she found very rewarding. Jo then joined the Hatt team in 2018 as a Patient Services Co-ordinator. She is very people focused and passionate about motivating and helping individuals to achieve their goals.
When not working, Jo loves to spend time with her close friends and family. She likes to run at least once a week and attends a regular yoga/Pilates class. She also loves the outdoors and has experienced many outdoor activities. Jo thinks of life as one big adventure that we only get to experience once, so it is important we make the most of it and look after ourselves.
Jo joined the team in September 2016 after a career break to take on the full-time role of bringing up three daughters. In her previous career she was a software developer and a project manager from which she brings with her both customer focused and organisational skills.
When not at work Jo enjoys spending time with her family. A lot of this time is is spent taking her children to various netball and hockey matches and ballet lessons. Jo has also just taken up running again after a break and attends regular exercise classes.
Moira joined the team in August 2015 after a career break to take on the full-time role of bringing up two daughters. She originally owned a Floristry business in Norwich before a move to Wiltshire with her husband. Moira then worked at a specialist picture frame restorer (which included helping to salvage some of Windsor Castle’s fire-damaged frames).
Moira joins our team bringing with her experience in customer services and accounting and administrative roles.
Moira dotes over all her pets (big and small) though regrettably has no room for the donkeys she would really like. But she supports the Donkey Sanctuary and adopts donkeys from a distance. Whether tending the beans on the allotment or scrambling along an airy ridge in Snowdonia, Moira is very much an outdoor person!
Having previously worked as a Nursery Teacher for 16 years in a private nursery, Julia wanted a change of direction after having her own two children. Having been with the Hatt Team since 2014 Julia has found the role most rewarding and thoroughly enjoyable throughout.
Most of Julia’s spare time is spent racing around after her three very lively and energetic children, who tend to keep her very busy. She enjoys running and having had a break for the last couple of years she has got back into her running shoes and just completed a 10K in aid of the Stroke Association. Julia is looking to participate in a few more 10k fun runs this year.
