Clinical Rehabilitation (or rehab) is an exercise session designed to help you build your strength, stability and control, and correct any underlying movement patterns that have caused or aggravated your injury. Rehab is used to help you fully recover from your injury and make it much less likely to re-occur in future.
Rehab is suitable for anyone looking to rehabilitate or recover from injury. You will typically be advised by your Physio when it is appropriate to start your Rehab classes.
Your first rehab session will be a 1:1 with just you and your rehab instructor. This session will last up to 45 minutes and you’ll spend this time together understanding your individual needs, going through your bespoke rehab programme and getting you started with your exercises.
After your 1:1. you will likely join a class environment. Each class will last up to 50 minutes and is made up of three people. In these classes, you’ll receive close individual attention to guide you through your exercises and help you progress your rehabilitation programme.
