Your Role as a Podiatrist or Foot Health Pracitioner at Hatt’s

From your first day at Hatt’s, we’ll get you started with a structured induction plan. You’ll progress step-by-step until you’re fully equipped with the tools and knowledge you need to start treating our patients.

Your role as a Podiatrist or Foot Health Practitioner will be to treat a variety of different Podiatric conditions using a holistic approach to help our patients resolve and prevent any foot problems.

You’ll work closely with the other foot specialists in the Podiatry team, and will play a key role in developing the department by sharing your knowledge and experience in regular in-service training and service development sessions. Whether you’re an expert in Biomechanics or general Podiatry care, you’ll play a vital role in helping our patients prioritise their foot health.

You’ll also develop an understanding of all of the services we offer at Hatt’s and be an important part of our multidisciplinary team, learning how to make recommendations and refer patients to our other services when required.

Salary: £27,000 – £33,000 (FTE) plus external training budget

What will I achieve in my first 12 months?

Starting with a structured induction plan, you’ll progress step-by-step until you’re fully equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to start treating our patients.

You’ll develop an understanding of all of the services we offer and be an important part of our multidisciplinary team, learning how to make recommendations and refer patients to our other services when required.

You will enjoy a varied caseload that includes general foot care, verruca, and fungal nail treatments.

You’ll be given regular feedback, performance reviews, and training opportunities. In return, you’ll be sharing your knowledge with your team, learning from other health professionals supporting their growth in return, and seeking ways for us to improve our Podiatry service continually.

Finally, let’s not forget that you will also be attending a social event or two (or three..), which will help you build relationships and have fun.

FAQs

We try to keep your hours as consistent as possible. There may be circumstances where you may need to adapt your hours but this will be discussed with you and with plenty of notice.

Yes, we contribute up to 3% and we encourage you where possible to contribute also.

Annual leave at Hatt’s is generous because we appreciate how hard everyone works and how important rest and recuperation is. You will receive 6.5 weeks of annual leave (including bank holidays) which increases to 7.5 weeks the longer you are with the company.

There is free parking available within a 5-minute walk to our Frome and Devizes clinics. The is a pay and display car park right outside our Marlborough clinic and free parking around a short walk away from the clinic.

This depends on your role. If you are required to wear branded uniform, we will provide it. Otherwise, we ask you that you dress in line with the company dress code.

It depends on your role within the company. As a health and movement clinic, we need to be able to offer availability before and after work and sometimes at weekend to accommodate the needs of our patients. We recognise that you have personal commitments, and we always take these into consideration as much as we can when putting your diary hours together.
