Clinical team

Daniels story

Hatt health and movement clinic has been a fantastic place to progress in my career. I joined the team after working in sport for the first part of my working life and I was immediately put at ease by the smooth transition into private practice, the clinic has all the tools in place to support each clinician and give great training throughout the journey which has allowed me to perform at my best and improve my practice. The clinic is well run and a fun place to work with a great team that has been a blast to be a part of. I feel at home in the clinic and look forward to coming in each day and working in a friendly, professional environment.

One of the great things about working at Hatts is the social aspect, there are plenty of work-dos and events being hosted throughout the year which has let me integrate with the team seamlessly. I have to give a big shout out to the management team as well, often known as something that can either make or break a workplace, they have been supportive and genuinely care about the wider team with regular one-to-ones where you can chat through your journey and voice any concerns with absolute trust. Finally, the clinic really does run like a well oiled machine with all the newest, researched tools at my disposal which gives me full confidence that I am working in an elite facility and the patients feel that too which helps build trust and rapport even before you see them. The clinic is always looking for ways to improve and is always open to everyone’s ideas to facilitate that.

My journey so far has been better than I could have expected. I started out without much experience with the public demographic but with great training and support I was quickly able to perform at a very high level. I was given as much training as I needed and wanted and I was very impressed in the clinic’s system which is designed to support a multi-disciplinary approach and allows each clinician to perform optimally. During the first few months of my work I was supported by my manager and the head of service who regularly checked in to ensure I was happy and confident with my work. There are regular service meetings where everyone is given a chance to discuss how to better our practice and give our ideas on how to achieve the best service possible. I found these meetings fantastic as I was given a voice and the trust to implement my own ideas into the clinic which made me feel like a valued member of the team.

Overall, over the past 10 months of working here I feel I have grown as a clinician which was facilitated by the great multidisciplinary team around me, I have great support from the patient services team who make my life easier so I can focus on the patients, I am trusted and feel supported by the management staff and I have made some great friends who I hang out with inside and outside of work.
